Quinta Da Aldeia overlooks Figueira with its brightly coloured houses and cobbled streets. Within 3 minutes walk are two food shops where fresh bread is delivered daily and where you will find several good bars and restaurants. The nearest supermarket at Budens is less than 3 minutes by car.
Close by are three beaches, two of which are without facilities and accessible by car bike and foot. The third beach Salema is a busy little fishing village and is ideal for families with its beautiful sand and several beach bars and good restaurants.

10 miles to the west is Cape St Vincent, the most westerly point of Europe, where high cliffs and seas can be spectacular. Henry the Navigator set sail from here on his voyages of discovery.
Driving north from here and up the Atlantic coast you will find beach after beach of beautiful white sand. These beaches are ideal for surfing enthusiasts and most have life guards, beach bars and facilities.
