Figueira is approx 60 miles west of Fairo airport. There are many airlines that fly there, including British Airways, Air Tours, EasyJet, FlyBe, and many more.

Although there is a good public bus service and taxi service. We do strongly recommend that you hire a car to maximise the enjoyment of your stay. There are many car rental services which allow you to collect your car from the airport when you arrive from your flight.

For those wanting to take their own car it is possible to catch the ferry to Santender or Bilbao and then drive through Spain and Portugal. Although this is approximately a 10 hour drive it would give you a chance to see the whole country and would be a memorable trip.

From Faro airport take the IPI signposted Albufeira and Portimao

After about 10 miles the road forks right to Portimao and Lagos

Follow this road all the way to the 2nd exit for Lagos

At the roundabout turn right towards Vila do Bispo

Continue straight past the Budens junction with Ecomarche supermarket on right

At next lights with green grass and Parque da Floresta on right

Turn left to Salema and Figueira and immediately right to Figueira

The road curves to the right

Take first right up a cobbled road

At end and to the right is Quinta da Aldeia

Drive past parking area and left into QDA and round to No 20 Casa Monica

Having unloaded please park outside in parking area
